"I’m a mom of three with very different curl types in my family, and I had no idea where to start. Kimberly’s step-by-step advice on detangling and product selection has been a lifesaver. My kids now love their wash days, and I love seeing them embrace their beautiful, natural hair. Thank you, Kimberly, for making hair care a joy instead of a chore!"

— Samantha P., Busy Mom

Why am I doing this workshop?

Because curly, kinky, and coily hair is beautiful—but too many people struggle with caring for it simply because they were never taught how. I created this workshop to bridge that gap and give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to embrace and love your natural curls.

I’ve been through the frustration, the confusion, and the overwhelm of figuring out how to care for natural hair, especially as a mom. I want to take that burden off someone else and empower them with tools and knowledge that make the journey easier.

Whether you’re new to this journey or just need a little guidance, I want to show you that caring for your hair doesn’t have to be overwhelming! You deserve to see the beauty in your curls and wear them with pride!

Ok, so what is the catch?

Honestly? There isn’t one. No gimmicks, no hidden fees—just real, practical advice that will help you on your natural hair journey. The only thing you need to do is show up, be open to learning, and have fun! I genuinely want to see more people feel confident in their natural hair, and this workshop is my way of helping you get there.

The only thing I hope in return is that you find value from the workshop and use the information as a stepping stone to embrace the beauty of natural hair. And if you love it and want to dive deeper, I do offer additional resources, courses, and tips that can help take your curly hair journey even further—but there’s no pressure at all.

My mission is to give, inspire, and help you embrace your curls with confidence.

That’s it! 😊

A little about my story...

As a kid...

I've always been a quiet, curious soul—the middle child who didn't fit the mold. My childhood wasn't easy. By the time I was 9, my parents had divorced, and my mom's health was declining. We lived on welfare and social security, but those struggles built a resilience in me that shaped who I am today.

Despite the challenges, I poured myself into school, earning perfect attendance and honor roll certificates like badges of honor. Those experiences taught me how to adapt, persevere, and keep learning—qualities that guide me every day as I work to empower others through their unique journeys.

I always knew I was destined for more, but my path wasn’t straightforward...

The first and second years were a breeze academically, but socially, I faced a tough battle with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I didn’t quite fit in—I didn’t have the trendiest clothes, and being one of just 12 Black students in a class of 400 only amplified my sense of difference. But I didn't let these challenges define me. Instead, I used them as stepping stones to grow and learn.

By junior year, my life took a dramatic turn when I became pregnant at 16. It wasn’t the path I had planned, but I was determined to not let it derail my education. With God’s grace and my mom’s support, I managed to graduate on time. My son, born out of unexpected circumstances, gave me a new purpose and ignited a fire within me to keep pushing forward.

Even as I juggled motherhood, school, and work, I discovered something incredible: I had a natural gift for connecting with people and helping them, even when I struggled to break out of my comfort zone. This gift shaped everything I did, from joining campus clubs to learning how to lead and inspire others.

By 22, I was a married mother of three, a homeowner, and working full-time, but my hunger for growth didn’t stop. I poured myself into studying business and marketing, fueled by a passion for helping others find solutions and overcome challenges.

That gift—seeing people, helping them, and empowering them—became my purpose.

Then I tried all the things that, well, didn't work...

Like many aspiring entrepreneurs, I had my share of missteps. I launched an online store, but I struggled to reach the right audience despite a beautiful website. I tried affiliate marketing, selling paparazzi jewelry, Shopify, Etsy Hair Consulting, and styling for income, but my following barely grew. Even freelance website design felt like an uphill battle in a dying market.

Each setback taught me something valuable—success isn’t just about having a great product; it’s about truly understanding and connecting with people. Through trial and error, I realized my real passion wasn’t just creating—it was empowering others to embrace their beauty and thrive.

I finally figured it out!

I found my purpose by combining my natural gifts with my passion for helping others. My true calling wasn’t just about selling a product but empowering people to embrace their unique beauty.

For me, that started with hair. Navigating curls, kinks, and coils without guidance was tough growing up. Over time, I developed a love for learning and teaching others to care for their natural hair.

One day, I discovered an entrepreneur sharing business tips online, which sparked something in me. I invested in courses, but they lacked the personal touch I needed. So, I prayed for guidance, researched, experimented, and built something meaningful.

Through faith, hard work, and persistence, I realized my gift—helping people embrace their natural beauty and build confidence.

By God’s Grace, My Journey Has Flourished—and I’m Here to Help You Embrace Your Natural Beauty and Confidence!

Now, my mission is to help you embrace your natural beauty and confidently care for your curls, kinks, and coils. I know the struggles, the trial-and-error, and the doubts, but I also know the freedom that comes with embracing what God has given you.
